Happy December!

I don't go on blogger much.. I find that its hard to search for a topic in particular, and when I go to the next blog, as indicated with the arrow on the top left of the page, I usually wind up with a blog that has been deleted, and I cannot keep flipping/browsing through blogs..

Autumn Autumn where are thou?

Crunchy leaves under my paws..

The leaves are Orange..

Like Tiger Stripes..

But unlike the Tiger.

Autumn is not full of life..

It is the end of summer..

The beginning of Winter..

and too much candy to even
think about..

Portable 6 pack coolers: impromptu make up bags

Since summer is officially over, at least here in the Northern Hemisphere, boo whoooooooooooo!!
You may run across various "summer Items " on sale, including those square zipper vinyl lunch bags, sometimes marketed as 6 pack carriers.  These 6 pack lunch bags make great portable beauty kit bags, they are insulated, which helps keep items cool and dry, and also keeps them from breaking up during travel.

I also have used them to store sports cards.

I  get emails from Marie Claire, and they are owned by Hearst Publications, which also owns
Cosmopolitian and Good Housekeeping.

They have a good magazine offer, for all you magazine fiends..

One of my favorite Bloggers,, BBB or
British Beauty Blogger always is first in line to note
new products coming out.

Although we are in August, the next thing you know it will be September, and then
the stores will really get into Christmas mode.  I especially love the new makeup kits
for Christmas, and of course, some are better than others..

The Bogus thing About Coupons

A lot of Good Coupons are on the internet, and thankfully, some great Bloggers
like the Krazy Koupon Lady, always list great coupons..but the huge
bummer is, you need to have a printer.  If you go to your Public Library,
unfortunatedly , many Libraries will not let you use the software to print coupons.

Its just not set up.. This is a bummer.

Back to School

While shopping for back to school items, whether for College, or Kind -e - garden

remember Christmas is just around the corner..

Thats if,
the Mayan Apocylyse doesn't do us in..


its good to buy little trinkets and odds and ends
and enough of Lip Balm

can't have enough Lip Balm can we?

I think Candles make nice gifts, the ones that are highly fragrenced, like
From Bath and Body Works, or Yankee Candle,
still leave a nice scent in the air,
whether you light them or not.

If you have a leftover Easter Basket, or just
a plain Wooden Basket, you could get
a nice bag of Coffee, (like Gevalia)
and some home fragrence things from Glade.

You can make nice gift baskets from items found at your local grocery store.

Summer Humidity

Its always recommended that we throw out (throw out!!!!?) our Mascara after 3 months..so in this Heat and Humidity of Chicago..my project right now is to try to use up all the mascaras I have (squirreled away)..

I like the trial/travel sizes of DiorShow (my fav) its not too dry, but dry enough..I also have a Clinique one,
its a glossy black..High Impact.

I don't put mascara on my inner lashes or my outer outer ones.. or bottom lashes..its just an invitation to
Smudge City (we all have been to Smudge City in the Summer)

I also like to save my Elle and Allure Magazines, for the cosmetic recommendations and photos.
When I am done with my magazines I donate them to a library for their fundraising or give to my neighbor.

Her kids are 5 and 7 and love magazines and coupons.  anything with big pictures that they can use for cut-ups.. I like to think I am encouraging their reading and art skills.

A good substitute for a Hug is Chocolate..or coffee from  Central America, like Costa Rica
or Guatamala, it has a choclatey undertaste to it..nice and smooth..
